Who am I?

I am very passionate about learning and problem solving.  I value knowledge, relationships, and peace.

What´s my story?

I am a New Yorker living in Madrid.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a master’s degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Mathematics, specializing in Hyperbolic Geometry.  My work experience is rather diverse, ranging from undergraduate research in a photonics lab at the City College of New York, mechanical and field engineering work at Otis Elevator, teaching mathematics at Hunter College CUNY, mathematical research, to my current position as data engineer at Openvia.

What do I do at Openvia?

As part of the data team, I use mathematical concepts for real world applications.  I bring a unique perspective to the table, adapt to various situations, and hope to help my team as much as possible.

Ask me about…?

My two daughters, hyperbolic geometry (or math in general), yoga and meditation, elevators, Star Trek, New York City, classic books, anything really.
